Navi Mumbai Tamil Sangam Students Shine in Karate Grading Examination!

Good Morning Esteemed Members & Well-Wishers,
We are delighted to share the wonderful achievements of our young talents in the art of Karate!
Madhuri’s Karate Hub, affiliated to Okinawa Martial Arts Academy, has been successfully conducting Karate classes at our Navi Mumbai Tamil Sangam premises. On 10th April 2026, the students appeared for their much-awaited grading examination at NMTS.
The examination was conducted by the highly respected Karate Master from Telangana, Shihan K. Vasanth Kumar – an 8th Dan Black Belt and renowned International Coach who trains the Karimnagar Non-weapon Police Force. His presence added great prestige to the event.
We are extremely proud to announce the following outstanding results:
Senpai M.R. Meenakshi achieved the highest milestone – Black Belt
Ishwari C. Mathpathi earned the Brown Belt
Balasubramanian M.R. earned the Maroon Belt
Nethra Rahul, Anvay Kaushik & Vivaan Rahul earned their Green Belts
Ruhu Mahadev Desai moved up to the Orange Belt
Our youngest achievers – Shreyan Das, Arshia Biswas, Adrija Biswas & Shrinidhi Bale successfully earned their Yellow Belts
Heartiest congratulations to all our dedicated students for their hard work, discipline, and commitment!
A special note of appreciation and congratulations to their devoted instructor, Mrs. Madhuri, for her excellent training and guidance that has enabled our children to reach these impressive milestones.

My children are getting trained under Sensei Madhuri Miss for the past two years and I commend the level of dedication that she brings to teaching the art form. In her gentle yet stern style she has helped my kids develop resilience, focus, confidence and discipline. This class is not any run of the mill karate class where children get trained in large batches and pass out. Sensei Madhuri is very intentional in her approach and is invested in developing the right form and the right mindset in her students. Congratulations to all the students who underwent the belt test and got a better grade. Special mention to Meenakshi on achieving her black belt.
